Join your school mates and play as a team - and you could win a visit from MG Harris to your school - expenses paid for by the publishers of THE JOSHUA FILES.

Please the rules carefully, play THE DESCENDANT during March 2009 and register your team by 31st May.

1. The competition is open to residents in the UK and Ireland.
2. Only one entry per school can be accepted.
3. Each school team must have a named sponsor - a staff member who will liaise with the organisers. Entrants must include a contact email address for this sponsor, that we can use to contact winners.
4. The entry must be emailed to an email address that will be provided within the game, from 28th March 2009.
5. Closing date for the competition is 31 May 2009. Teams can register up to and including 31 May.
6. If no correct solutions have been received by 31 May the deadline will be extended. All registered entrants will be notifed by email. The new deadline will be posted on themgharris.com
7. The winners will be those judged to have provided the correct and most convincingly explained solution. e.g. Mr X did it - is unlikely to win, but Mr X did it and the evidence is...(etc) might win.
8. The winners will be notified within 24 days of the closing date.
9. If the winners do not respond within 28 days of being notified, alternative winners will be selected and these will be the next people who have answered the question correctly.
10. It is a condition of entry that the winners, and, if under 18, their parents or guardians, agrees to the use of their name and photograph in publicity material.
11. The winners’ names will be posted on the www.themgharris.com website.
12. It is a condition of entry that ALL entrants grant permission to display (via embedded code) their entry on themgharris.com
13. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
14. No cash alternative.
15. If the prize is unavailable, a similar prize of the same value will be offered.
16. The promoter is Scholastic Children's Books UK.

Please note - your named sponsor must be an adult employee of your school who is able to liaise with Scholastic Children's Books UK if your team is victorious.
