The Joshua Files makes a second book award shortlist. This time it's the Stockport School's Book Awards. Other shortlisted titles in the 11-13 (Key Stage 3) category are "The Lost Riders by Elizabeth Laird, a previous winner of the Stockport Schools Book Award and "Ways to Live Forever" by Sally Nicholls, winner of the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and Glen Dimplex New Writer of the Year 2008. Stiff competition then, for the first title of The Joshua Files series! The prize is chosen by young readers in Stockport schools. Other previous winners in the KS3 category include Anthony Horowitz, Anne Fine, Siobhan Dowd, Eoin Colfer and Derek Landy. Fingers crossed...
